Why Our Customers Love SUREDRIVE™
There are over 2,000 hours on the 1st Suredrive we installed now with no sign of wear or tear. I pulled that gearbox out as it was chattering in neutral this summer, as I thought the elastomers were maybe worn. Turns out the elastomers were 99% brand new still. Chatter was from the bull gear with too low of an idle RPM, which Tibor from SureDrive helped troubleshoot.
We would not hesitate to recommend these units to anyone who doesn't want to pull out a gearbox every season.
Great company, awesome product, and amazing folks.

I installed my first SureDrive on a 3-53 Detroit Diesel approximately 30 years ago and never had to worry about it again. The drive that came with the engine was forever failing. The springs would constantly self-destruct. I repowered the boat last year with a new Cummins Diesel.
When I removed the gear from the old engine the SureDrive was just like new! There was no doubt that I needed to get a new SureDrive to fit the new engine. I called Barbara and she expertly came up with a new drive to fit the Cummins engine. I wouldn't have anything else!

3rd test was the charm. No smoke or vibration. Was able to take her out under power for 2 hours and no problems. Three days later motor sailed 4 hours and everything with the drive was normal I'm usually suspicious of things that fix themselves but I'm running with it.
VERY happy with your product. Thank you for an affordable solution to what could have been an expensive problem.

WOW!! What a difference --- I backed out of my slip as I'd done so many times before, shifted to neutral, cranked the wheel, and put her in forward.. Nothing Happened !!! I was about to go into panic mode, thinking I was going to crash into the row of boats behind me when I realized I was indeed moving forward.. It just happened without the customary -- clunk -- I was accustomed to.. Thank You for such an improvement.

Absolutely no problems, and always the good feeling, that I don't have to worry about the splines anymore. One day, we were going by engine against current and strong winds out of the "Stör lock", one of those moments, where you definitely don't want an engine failure. It felt really good. The engine runs a bit smoother at idle and at very low revs. It sounds "less hard, more - smooth is probably the best word I know". Apart from that you don't feel a tremendous difference, but that was also not the main motivation.
We did about 7hr on the engine all in all so far, and I am absolutely happy. Thanks a lot! And my compliments to the engineer for the technically convincing solution.
